Death of Mrs. T. J. Anderson — A very wide circle
of friends will hear with, regret of the death, of Mrs. Alice Anderson,
wife of Mr. T. J. Anderson, dairyman, Bluff Point, which occurred very
suddenly last night. Mrs. Anderson has been present at a meeting of the
Bluff Point Progress Association, and proceeded home shortly before 11
o'clock. She was accompanied as far as the old butter factory by Messrs.
MacDonald and Johnson, and she then, assured her escort she would be all
right, as she had only three or four hundred yards to go. A little later
Mr. Allan passed the spot, and found her lying on, the ground, and it
appeared that she had not walked far after leaving Messrs. MacDonald and
Johnson. He hurried to the house for assistance, and she was promptly
carried home. A medical man was summoned, but his services were
unavailing, death having taken place. |
